She grew up on a farm near a very small town in the Northern Cape. Ever since primary school, she played doctor-doctor on dolls and animals. In high school she joined the first aid team and assisted at sporting events in town. She went on to study medicine at the University of Stellenbosch and graduated MB,ChB in 2012.

In high school she joined the first aid team and assisted at sporting events in town. She went on to study medicine at the University of Stellenbosch and graduated MB,ChB in 2012.
She did her internship at Leratong Hospital in Krugersdorp.
During her community service at 1 Military Hospital she did six months in Casualty and six months in anaesthetics.
For the past three and a half years she has been in private practice and is enjoying every minute of it.
She has a passion for children and enjoys getting to know the people she treats.
For the past 9 years you would often find her next to Loftus Rugby Field or at Tuks sporting events as a Match Day Doctor.
Her spare time she enjoys with her husband, daughter, son and two scotties.
